2. DOES IT COST ANYTHING TO USE TOQEK?
No, Toqek is absolutely for free and doesn’t require any additional purchase. Toqek lets you make free phone calls, video calls, conference calls and send free text messages to your friends. You can contact with any Toqek user for free, wherever you are*. All you need is Wifi, 3G, EDGE or GPRS.
3. WHAT DEVICES WORK WITH TOQEK?
Toqek supports Android and iPhone, in near future also BlackBerry, PC and Mac.
4. DO I HAVE TO REGISTER?
You don’t have to register. Toqek uses your phone number as your identity and lets you make free calls to any of Toqek users using their phone numbers*.
5. HOW TO SIGN IN?
When you’ve downloaded our app, you should next sign in to Toqek. Please, enter your phone number and press REQUEST SMS. After a while you will get a free sms with code. This code verifies that nobody else signs in using your phone number. Sometimes there might be a few minutes delay. If the SMS has not arrived, press BACK BUTTON and request the SMS again. If the problem with receiving the SMS appears three times in a row press request the SMS again. This time we’ll call you back and our system will tell you the code. Please be prepared and have something to write the code down. If there is still a problem, please write to email@example.com
6. HOW DO I KNOW IF I’M CONNECTED TO THE SERVICE?
When the connection has been established properly you’ll see a green icon in the top right corner of the keypad screen. Otherwise the icon will turn grey. In such a case make sure you are properly connected to 3G, WIFI , EDGE or GPRS.
7. CAN I CALL PEOPLE WHO DON’T HAVE TOQEK?
Yes, and it will cost you less than a regular call, because our app will use VOIP to do it. Therefore, if you want to be in touch with your friends for free remember to invite them to Toqek*. Of course, you can also chat with your friends from Facebook and Google Talk for free using SOCIAL HUB.
8. HOW CAN I FIND MY FRIENDS AND INVITE THEM TO TOQEK?
You dont’t have to looking for them, because Toqek automatically will show you who from your adress book is Toqek user. If you want to add new Toqek friends, you can use their Toqek ID to find them. You can use also INVITE TO TOQEK button in CONTACT DETAILS or click TELL FRIENDS in MORE section to invite all your friends that aren’t Toqek users yet.
9. HOW CAN I IMPORT MY CONTACTS TO TOQEK?
Toqek uses your device’s address book and automatically shows you who from your address book already has Toqek, so you don’t need to do it.
10. WHO CAN SEE MY PROFILE INFORMATIONS?
Your Toqek profile is public, which means that your friends and people who can find you in search can see your profile information, your avatar and status.
11. CAN I EDIT MY PUBLIC INFORMATION ON TOQEK PROFILE?
Yes, you can add, change or remove any information on your Toqek profile. You can also set up status or change your public avatar. Just click MY PROFILE in MORE section.
12. DOES TOQEK CAN WORK IN THE BACKGROUND?
Yes, Toqek is designed to run also in the background (without draining your battery), so you will always receive incoming calls and messages notifications. Toqek will notify you about every friend who has just joined Toqek, too.
13. CAN I USE TOQEK IN A COUNTRY WHERE VOIP IS BLOCKED?
In some regions (Belize, Oman, UAE etc.) VOIP services are blocked by some cellular providers, internet providers or countries and Toqek cannot be used. In most of these cases, the country runs the ISP and telephone services thus do not want to lose revenue, and therefore, they block all VOIP services.
